The Equinunk Historical Society has rescheduled a "can't miss" program at the Museum for next Saturday, Sept. 28, at 1:00 p.m. Originally planned for earlier in the summer, "TRACKING SOPHIE", presented by Helen Adams and Jason Smith, had to be postponed until this week. The delightful story of a somewhat quirky local woman who resided in this area in the beginning of the last century will hold you spellbound. Sophie inherited her family's farm in her later years. She resided alone except for a family of farm animals who lived with her inside the home. Sophie would, on occasion, assemble the animals and go out to visit her neighbors. She was known to arrive at meal time, prepared to stay the night if invited, animal family and all. The Sophie stories will entertain and amuse you.
