Issuing a warm welcome to all our friends for another First Friday gathering, March 3rd, at the Calder Cafe, located in the Equinunk Historical Society in the center of Equinunk, PA. We missed seeing you last month when the very iffy weather forecast made it unwise to continue with a First Friday celebration. A look at the calendar confirms that we are running out of First Fridays! As we turn toward Spring, the programs at EHS change to make way for new adventures. First Fridays are winter events who's purpose is to bring us together in music and camaraderie and help us get through the grey days of cold.
We are looking forward to meeting new performers and hearing some new tunes. If you'd like to play with us, please contact Pat at 570-224-0223 and she will put you on the roster. Accoustic only please - the room is cozy. Please plan for three songs and let us know if you encourage the audience to sing along. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Music begins about 7:15. Sometimes the room is pretty full, so listeners, come early if you want to be sure to have a seat. The event is free, but donations are always welcome. Light refreshments are available for purchase. EHS is located at the junction of the Hancock Hwy, (Rte. 191). The street address is 1972 Pine Mill Rd. for your GPS.
